H.E. Dr. Ahmed Nazif said :

projects proposed through EUMEDIS initiative are self sustainable, their output will make the
projects fund themselves
and continue working.”

H.E. Ambassador Ian Boag, Head of
Delegation of the European Commission in Egypt said:

“ Unlike many regional programs, the sense of ( ownership) is very clearly
felt in EUMEDIS among Mediterranean partners. In EUMEDIS, Mediterranean
partners were involved with their counter EU partners in the process from
the very beginning and the choices of subject matter of the projects have
been jointly reached.”

of effort that went into the process of preparation of the EUMEDIS, and that
exerted in the project selection, as well as the high level of participation
