In spite of all the challenges that the information society in Egypt faces, strong efforts are being made to upgrade the local information and communication infrastructure. The development of human resources and the utilization of information technologies in various sectors of the community was part of the goal and the establishment of ITCCs targeting professionals was part of the effort.
